Twenty years in. Same mission.
Donut Farm was started in 2006 by Josh Levine — San Francisco native, long history in the East Bay music scene, founding member of 924 Gilman Street, the all-ages punk venue. Then a dream and an idea: a vegan donut company.
It started as a daily wholesale run to cafés in SF, Oakland, and Berkeley — Ritual, Philz, Rainbow Grocery. That grew into the flagship on San Pablo in Oakland, and a Whole Foods contract that funded the switch to 100% organic ingredients — a standard we never walked back. Twenty years on, every donut is still organic, scratch-made, every day.
